Can you explain more about your different carpet substrates?
The Highline concept has nine tufted qualities for you to choose from – seven with a cut pile and two with a loop pile. The price is determined by the yarn type and the amount of yarn per sq yard (ounce weight): the higher the amount of yarn used, the higher the price. The pure nylon yarn is the cheapest. The wool/nylon blend is the most expensive. The regenerated and regenerable nylon yarn based on abandoned, used carpets fishing nets and industrial waste is the green alternative, and mid-range priced.
The final price is determined by your choice of carpet substrate (Highline quality), quantity, and design. A custom design is the most expensive, followed by the slightly cheaper designer collections. The Easy Recolor collections offer the best price when it comes to wall-to-wall designs and recolor options at no extra charge.
Please note that wool gives a more subdued look than nylon due to its natural cream-colored, matt hue. The nylon alternatives, on the other hand, have a glossier, sharper design definition.
All Highline qualities have an integrated underlay and are available with WT Woven Textile backing (standard) or AB Acoustic backing (optional). If you choose Highline carpet tiles, they come with our patented Ecotrust backing in 100% recycled textile.
